1932 Ford Phaeton Steel Street Rod
(March 05 ebay listing) Miles: 5900 Doors: 2 doors Transmission: Manual Interior: Red Engine: 8 - Cyl. Year: 1932 Warranty: No VIN Number: 999999999 Title: Clear Exterior: Black Condition: Used Vehicle Description The chassis is a TCI style which is powder coated. The front end is early Ford with dropped front beam and early spring perches and transverse spring. The brakes are 40 Ford with custom scooped backing plates. The car has a Duvall windshield and a custom fabric Phaeton Top ( it is removable but takes a little doing). The grill is a Deuce grill and the hood a modified Model A. The cycle fenders on the front are from a 1936 Ford spare tire carrier split in two. The rear fenders are the only thing that is fiberglass and they have been bobbed. The fuel tank is a Deuce tank. Wheels are Ford with caps and beauty rings. A 302 Ford (roller bearing) engine has been built for the car and produces tremedous power. It has a Weber Carb on it that delivers the fuel really well. Transmission is a 5 speed manual. The rear end is a 9 in Ford ( not positraction). The interior is red vinyl and is well done as is the dash, gauges and the wiring. The steering wheel is a banjo style. This car is gorgeous and if you appreciate craftsmanship and quality then this car is for you. It is engineered to ride and drive as a new car with the old look and feel. The car runs, drives , shifts effortlessly. The car is FORD through and through. At the present time the car has 6,000 miles on it. I recommend you see the car or send someone to see the quality and make sure this is what you want. Like most of us I like coupes, and roadsters when I go to an event but I love this one because it is always the only one, which brings lots of attention and that really makes the day. George © ebay |
